Black Cat Farmstead

Welcome!
Welcome to the Black Cat Farmstead fiber studio & farm store.  Explore our site to learn more about our beautiful sheep, flax-to-linen production, handspun yarn, farm-grown wool & other supplies for handspinners and felters, one-of-a kind locally made goods & more! We offer small group and individual instruction in fiber processing, spinning, felting, dyeing, and weaving. Inquire for details.

We are a family-friendly destination just 5 miles from the picturesque village of Stockholm, Wisconsin on the Great River Road, 90 minutes downriver from Minneapolis-St Paul, and about an hour from Rochester, Eau Claire and LaCrosse.  Visitors to the yarn farm can meet the sheep, goats and other farm animals who live here, purchase farm-raised wool and handspun yarns, see demonstrations or take a class in spinning, weaving and other crafts.
